Dennis Out
I’m a bass player from The Netherlands. I graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2017, studying bass guitar at the Pop department.
Since 2020 I’m touring with the live band of Snelle, here are a few highlights: theatertour of 43 shows, three times AFAS Live, Lotto Arena, a really nice festival season with around 40 shows and we ended the year 2022 with a clubtour with eleven shows in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The years before joining the live band of Snelle, I played in a wide variety of bands.
Blupaint was one of my main bands at that time. In 2016 we won one of the biggest music contests in The Netherlands: 'De Grote Prijs van Nederland'. After that we became 3FM Serious Talent, which resulted in a lot of festivals, pop venues and radio shows.
Other bands I played in at that time where: Démira, Meis and Van Common.
Démira was a finalist of the TV show 'De Beste Singer-songwriter van Nederland'. We played shows in The Netherlands, Germany and Malta. I played bass on all the tracks of the 'White Raven' EP and her single 'Bravado'.
Meis is the band from singer and songwriter Aysha de Groot. In 2018 we won the contest 'Mooie Noten' and played a Popronde tour. You can hear me play bass on 'Waarom' and a live recording from 'Bram'.
Last but not least is Van Common, the only band that I’m still playing bass/keys in. One of the highlights of the Van Common journey are the Popronde 2018 shows and the Noorderslag show in 2019. The last few years Sebastiaan van Ravenhorst has been focussing on new songs, hopefully the band will be playing live again soon.
